Week 3 Art Camp--MUD AND EARTH PAINTING-- June 17, 10am-12pm

$10.00

Long before paintbrushes and art stores existed, early humans were already creating stunning works of art — using nothing but the earth beneath their feet. In this immersive, hands-on class, young artists will step back in time to explore the ancient tradition of cave painting and discover how our earliest ancestors turned mud, clay, and natural pigments into breathtaking works of art.

Kids will learn where natural pigments come from, how they've been used across cultures and throughout history, and what makes the earth such a rich and surprising source of color. Then comes the best part — they'll get to make their own pigments from natural materials and use them to create their very own earth-inspired masterpieces.

Expect muddy hands, big discoveries, and a whole new appreciation for the ground we walk on. This class is where history, science, and creativity all come together in the most beautifully messy way possible.

Class is held in Brigham City.
